About Therapy
You’re not just looking for someone to listen.
You need someone who will actually help.
If you’ve been dealing with parental alienation, estrangement, or intense family conflict, you’ve likely already talked to people who nodded along but didn’t give you anything useful.
That kind of “support” leaves you feeling even more alone.
What you need now is clarity, direction, and someone willing to step in with you – not sit on the sidelines.
Because there are many on the sidelines judging you.
As a parent, you often feel misunderstood, misrepresented, or even manipulated.
Before long, even the most grounded people start to second-guess their instincts.
You wonder if you’re overreacting.
If you missed something.
If you’re somehow to blame.
The pressure keeps you up at night, wondering if you can repair the relationship with your child or if your family will ever feel whole and connected again.
From our first session together, things will begin to feel different.
Doubt can keep you stuck, hesitant to act, and unsure of what the right next step even looks like.
You’ve come to the right place to get the support you need.
You won’t be dismissed, minimized, or talked over.
You’ll be heard clearly – and more importantly, you’ll start to understand what’s actually happening.
Instead of vague reassurance, you’ll leave with concrete steps, a clearer perspective, and a sense that there is a way forward.
Clarity replaces confusion – and momentum replaces helplessness.
This work is about helping you regain your footing, rebuild your confidence, and approach your situation with strength and strategy.
As we work together, you’ll begin to notice shifts you didn’t expect:
- You stop questioning your own reality.
- You start to see the dynamics at play more clearly.
- You’re no longer stuck reacting – but actively shaping what happens next.
You don’t have to stay in a position where everything feels out of your control.

About David Geltzer, LMSW

This work is personal for me – not just professional.
I’m David Geltzer, and my path into this field didn’t start in a classroom – it started in my own life.
After losing my father at a young age, I became deeply committed to the idea of building and protecting strong family connections.
That commitment only deepened when my own family faced parental alienation, and I couldn’t find the kind of help we needed.
I understand what it feels like to search for answers and come up short.
That experience pushed me to go back and train in a way that would allow me to support families facing these challenges.
Along the way, I spent over 15 years in education, working closely with children and families, and even homeschooling my own son for much of his life.
My work today is shaped by both professional training and lived experience.
My approach is direct, strategic, and focused on real outcomes.
I draw from a range of methods – including structural family therapy, the Nurtured Heart Approach, and strategic intervention models – to help you understand what’s happening and what to do next.
This isn’t passive therapy. It’s active, intentional work designed to help you regain stability and rebuild connection.
Family isn’t just what I do – it’s what I value most.
Outside of my work, I stay closely connected to the people who matter most in my life.
Whether it’s time with my wife, staying active, or talking with my mother every day, those relationships ground me.
They’re also a constant reminder of why this work matters as much as it does.
I can’t wait to meet you and get started!
If you’re feeling stuck, unheard, or unsure of how to move forward, you don’t have to figure it out on your own.
